Layne Dawson, a 36 year-old cowboy who is a confirmed bachelor and set in his somewhat old-fashioned ways, is not thrilled when his duties at the Rocky Road Ranch change temporarily from foreman to a guide for three female scientists studying the petroglyph rock on one of the Four Peaks. But since he’s an easy-going guy that believes things work out eventually, he goes to work with a smile on his face, willing to learn what the ladies are so excited about.

What he doesn’t expect is how much he wants to learn about Dr. Silver Collins. She’s not only an Anthropologist but also an Ancient Astronaut theorist who has a serious following on the internet. Their lives are the exact opposite, which is perfect for him. When she finishes her study at the end of the month, she’ll be off to another site. Perfect.
